The Pagoh Edu Hub is the country's first and largest public higher education hub. Designed to promote academic excellence and regional growth, the hub spans over 200 hectares and accommodates four leading educational institutions: Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), and Politeknik Tun Syed Nasir Ismail. With an estimated student population of 7,500, the hub plays a crucial role in advancing education and contributing to the economic and social development of the surrounding areas.
Inspired by global educational models such as Qatar Education City, the hub is built as an integrated academic ecosystem. In addition to its academic facilities, the hub includes shared infrastructure managed by the Ministry of Higher Education's Special Project Section. These include a convention hall, auditorium, library, multipurpose hall, sports stadium, futsal complex, aquatic centre, and guest houses. These amenities not only support students and faculty but also provide benefits to the local community, promoting engagement and comprehensive development.
